The first of our new generation of character bust models has been created using a combination of 3D Scan data and traditional sculpting. Completely retopologised and animation ready this model comes with a full set of 4K textures including sub surface scatting maps (subdermal, Epidermal) In addition you will receive the lightwave lighting scene and shader setup shown in the render above, compatible with version 9.6 onwards. A full set of OBJ's is also supplied should you wish to import the model into another 3D package such as Maya, 3D Studio Max, Blender, etc.

Finally got around to doing a quick render of the car from my modelling tutorial in action!

Rendered in Modo 501. Used Modo's replicator system for the ground cover initially, then blended a couple of photos over the top in photoshop to add a bit of extra detail. All the dust was added in PS as well.
Also tried out Motiva RealCamera for some post processing, it's Beta software which you can get for free from their site.

I decided to try out Photoscan on a car model to see how it could cope, and the answer is not too bad. At first I took the photos on a relatively plain table top and the software seemed to have trouble aligning photos from the two sides of the car, it seemed to do one side ok but any shots of the opposite side it got confused with. I just placed a magazine under the car so each side was more unique and that solved the issue.
